From the shop floor
to the server room.
I'm a BCA graduate from Assam Downtown University (2021–2024, CGPA 8.24), specialised in Cloud Technology & Information Security. My background isn't a straight line into code — before development, I ran the daily transactions, inventory, and customer floor at a clothing retailer, which is where the discipline for detail and the comfort with people started.
On the technical side I don't sit in one lane. I build full-stack apps with the MERN stack, I've written C/C++ for game logic, I'm comfortable in both SQL and NoSQL, and I hold a CCNA-grounded understanding of networking alongside AWS and Docker fundamentals. Intermediate with Linux from the command line up.
Alongside that, the last six months as a content editor: cutting in DaVinci Resolve Studio, grading with a colourist's eye, compositing in Fusion. And seven years in Affinity Photo after moving off Photoshop entirely.
What I don't claim is DevOps at scale — CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation are areas I'm building toward, not areas I'll oversell. I'd rather be useful on day one than impressive on paper.
